January thru March

Tuesdays, Nordic Meisters at Great Glen Trails - 9 am - 3:45 pm - Beginning first week of January, for eight weeks, skiers of all abilities challenge themselves on the race courses with prizes awarded in age categories and through a raffle. Also offering a non-timed category for those looking for all the fun without the the racing!

Great North Woods Vintage Snowmobile Racing - Return to the fun of the bygone era and re-live the fun many of us had there. A four race series, sponsored by the premiere clubs in the state will be held again this winter and they are waiting for you to dust off that '74 single or twin fan cooled relic sleeping in the corner of your garage and join in the fun!

Winter Fatbiking, Sundays at Great Glen Trails - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm - Great Glen Trails is welcoming Fatbikes on their trail system, Sundays only. Trail pass required and rentals available. Trail pass and helmets required and rentals are available. Race in March

Annual Military Salute Weekend at Wildcat Mountain - All Day Event - To honor our nation’s defenders; Wildcat Mountain will be offering FREE LIFT TICKETS for active, veteran and retired service men and women, and DISCOUNTED lift tickets ($45 All Ages) for active duty family members with ID*.

Annual Military Salute Weekend at Cannon Mountain - Free lift tickets for all US active duty, retired, reserve and veteran members of ALL military branches - Proper military identification required. 50% off full-day tickets for up to 3 immediate family members. Get tickets at Notchview Guest Services. Starts at 12:30pm slopeside @ Peabody Lodge

Veterans Appreciation Day at Bretton Woods - Veterans of the military receive complimentary tickets for Alpine or Nordic when they present a current or past military ID at any ticket window. (Family members of the Veteran are eligible also) Disabled veterans from NH and VT will receive complimentary ski and winter sport lessons and use of equipment through New England Disabled Sports at Bretton Woods. Annual Nansen-Milan Winter carnival - Burning of the Greens Bonfire, Ice Skating & Hot Cocoa, Broomball Tournament, 100 Mile Dog Sled Race Staging, Dinner Buffet, Music, Dancing, Cash Bar.

NH Snowmobile Assn. Easter Seals Ride-In, Gorham, NH - Gather, meet new friends and enjoy old ones while raising money for Easter Seals! Snow lanes will be built on Main Street in Gorham, NH for accessibility to town during this event. Lodging at the Town & Country Inn & Resort

Lancaster Grand Prix Vintage Snowmobile Race - The oldest vintage snowmobile race in the USA! The thrill and fun of vintage snowmobiling will be on full display at the Lancaster Grand Prix vintage snowmobile racing event at the fairgrounds in Lancaster, NH, also known as Snowmobile City, USA! Racers from NH and beyond will bring their vintage sleds and compete for $10,000 in cash prizes.

Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge at Cannon Mountain - The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge is a free, fun race open to all ages and abilities. Bring your friends, bring your family and join in the fun! Register in the Peabody Base Lodge. Race starts at 11!

Pirates of the High Skis at Cannon Mountain - Arrgh! Ski Like a Pirate and Hunt for Ye Treasure! This is a fundraiser for the Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country and the day includes: treasure hunts, tattoo parlour, contests, portrait gallery, raffles and a day of skiing & riding for a great price and a great cause!

Torchlight Parade at Wildcat Mountain - Ski Patrol and Ski School will journey down the hill just after dusk to form the Torchlight Parade. This is a great event that brings families and friends together on the ski mountain.

Family Fun Night w/ Fireworks at Cannon Mountain - - Apres w/ live music & promos in the Cannonball Pub 21+, bouncy house, Movie for Kids in the Brookside Lodge, Huckerbrook open under the lights for $5, Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Annual Mount Washington Cup Nordic Race - 0k Freestyle (skate ski) Race, which is part of the ZAK Cup Series. Located on the grounds of the historic Omni Mount Washington Resort and the White Mountain National Forest, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest cross country areas in the East. The 100-km trail network crosses open fields, meanders through woods of spruce and fir, passes beaver ponds and mountain streams, and traverses open hardwood stands.

The Great North Woods Sled Dog Challenge - FOUR days, FOUR different trails! Beginning at the historic Omni Mount Washington Resort, next day the race travels to the Colebrook Country Club in Colebrook NH, then to Ramblewood Cabins & Campground in Pittsburg NH on the following day, and culminates at the Mahoosuc Inn in Milan NH.

Ski, Snowshoe & Fatbike to the Clouds on Mt. Washington Auto Road - Challenge yourself with North America’s Toughest 10K, climbing 2,200 vertical feet over the final 6km! For more information and to register click the link above.

Annual 100,000 Vertical Foot Challenge at Wildcat Mountain - A non-race event offering the chance for a limited capacity field of participants the opportunity to ski or ride 100,000 vertical feet in a single day. Total funds raised from the previous 12 years of the event have reached nearly $750,000 directly benefiting Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire and their endeavors.
